Erasing Make sure the unit is not being used and the handset is lifted off the base unit. 1 Press Ü or á to enter the directory list. 2 Press Ö or Ñ. •The first item is displayed. 3 Scroll to the directory item that you want to erase by pressing Ö or Ñ. •To search for the item by initial, see page 40. 4 Press (HOLD/FUNCTION/CLEAR). •To stop erasing, press Ü (No key). 5 Press á (Yes key) or (HOLD/FUNCTION/CLEAR). •A beep sounds and the item is erased. •To erase other items, repeat from step 3. •To exit the directory list, press (OFF).
