Compose the scene Compose the scene and frame the subject with the AF frame. When the shutter release button is depressed halfway down, the green lamp lights up and the focus is locked. Even if you lift your finger off the shutter release button, the focus will remain locked for 10 minutes and the green lamp will blink slowly. * Focus cannot be locked with the Remote Control's shutter release button. * If you wish to focus on another subject after the focus is locked, use the focus-lock technique again to focus on the subject.
