CONSOLE DIAGRAM FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE The advanced console offers an array of features designed to make your workouts more effective and enjoyable. When you use the manual mode, you can change the resistance of the pedals and the incline of the ramp with the touch of a button. While you exercise, the console will display continuous exercise feedback. You can even measure your heart rate using the handgrip heart rate monitor or an optional chest heart rate monitor (see page 24 for more information). The console also offers a selection of onboard workouts. Each workout automatically controls the resistance of the pedals and the incline of the ramp and prompts you to vary your pedaling speed as it guides you through an effective workout. You can even connect your personal audio player to the console sound system and listen to your favorite music or audio books while you exercise. You can also use the charging port on the console to charge your USB-compatible device while you exercise. To use the manual mode, see page 20. To use an onboard workout, see page 23.
