Slide A B C on the base to the same setting used for the transmitter. 3. Fully extend and rotate the antenna on the base (receiver) for the best reception. 4. When the mailbox is opened, the base beeps for about 10 seconds and the green MAIL indicator flashes. Press RESET to return to standby. The red POWER indicator on the base lights steadily. CARE Keep the Mail Guard system dry; if it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Use and store the system only in normal temperature environments. Handle the system carefully; do not drop it. Keep the system away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new. Modifying or tampering with the Mail Guard system's internal components can cause a malfunction and 14 Operation
