ENGLISH Advanced Recording FRANÇAIS Perfectionnez vos enregistrements q DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) 1 The DIS function works in CAMERA mode only. 1 DIS(Digital Image Stabilizer) is a handshake compensation function that compensates for any shaking or moving of the hand holding the camcorder (within reasonable limits). 1 It provides more stable pictures when: s Recording with the Zoom s Recording a small object close-up s Recording and walking at the same time s Recording through the window of a vehicle 1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode. 2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button. s The menu list will appear. 3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight DIS. 4. To activate the DIS function, press the ENTER button. s The DIS menu is changed to ON. s If you do not want to use the DIS function, set the DIS menu to OFF. 5. To exit, press the MENU ON/OFF button. (MENU) SP STBY LCD ADJUST CUSTOM SET DIS OFF PIP OFF D.ZOOM OFF PROGRAM AE .........AUTO : MENU Reference s It is recommended that you deactivate the handshake compensation function when using a tripod. s The DIS function will not operate in the low SHUTTER 1/8, 1/15, 1/30 mode. s If you set the DIS function to ON in GHOST mode, the GHOST mode will be switched off. s If you use the DIS function, the picture quality may deteriorate. q Stabilisateur d'image numérique (DIS) 1 L'option DIS fonctionne uniquement en mode caméscope (CAMERA). 1 Elle compense, jusqu'à un certain point, le léger tremblement qui peut survenir en filmant. 1 Cette fonction permet d'obtenir des images plus stables dans les situations suivantes : s lorsque vous filmez en mode zoom, s lorsque vous filmez un petit objet en plan serré, s lorsque vous filmez et marchez en même temps, s lorsque vous filmez à travers la vitre d'un véhicule. A l'aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez le mode DIS. : MENU 4. Pour activer la fonction DIS, appuyez sur la touche ENTER. s L'option DIS est activée lorsqu'elle est sur ON. s Si vous ne souhaitez pas utiliser la fonction DIS, réglez-la sur OFF. 5. Pour quitter le mode menu, appuyez sur la touche MENU ON/OFF. Important s Nous vous recommandons de désactiver le stabilisateur d'image lorsque vous filmez avec un trépied. s La fonction DIS ne fonctionne pas avec les valeurs suivantes du mode SHUTTER : 1/8, 1/15, 1/30. s Si vous activez la fonction DIS en mode GHOST, celui-ci est automatiquement désactivé. s La fonction DIS peut altérer la qualité de l'image. 35
