Bluetooth Extra tones You can customize additional tones for the phone. 1. Press the key to turn a selected tone On. A check mark displays in front of the option. Press the Save soft key to save the setting. 2. Press the key twice to turn a selected tone Off. The check mark no longer displays in front of the option. Press the Save soft key to save the setting. The following options are available: • Indicative tones: generates a tone whenever a pop-up window displays on the screen. • Minute minder: sets whether or not the phone beeps every minute during an outgoing call to keep you informed of the length of your call. • Connection tone: sets whether or not the phone beeps when your call is connected to the system. • Alerts on call: sets whether or not you receive tones when a message arrives while you are on a call. Bluetooth About Bluetooth Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology capable of exchanging information over a distance of about 30 feet without requiring a physical connection. Unlike infrared, you don't need to line up the devices to beam information with Bluetooth. If the devices are within a range of one another, you can exchange information between them, even if they are located in different rooms. The following Bluetooth options are available: Turn Bluetooth On/Off This option allows you to turn Bluetooth On or Off. ᮣ Make a selection and press the Select soft key or the key.
