Connections • Before making connections, disconnect the power cords from all units. Refer to the manual of the respective unit for detailed instructions. • Do not connect HDMI CEC-enabled audio equipment to this unit or to the TV. Otherwise the AQUOS LINK function will not operate correctly. ■ The audio and video signal flow in a system using this unit is shown below. If the component is connected directly to the TV, the sound of the HDMI component sometimes cannot not be reproduced by the AQUOS AUDIO system. • If the input selector of the AQUOS AUDIO system is not set to HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, the sound from the Blu-ray Disc player or similar component cannot be reproduced by the TV. AQUOS LINK function When connecting an HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control)-enabled AQUOS TV, Blu-ray Disc player, or similar component, operation of these components in the system can be linked.
