NO Is the voltage 0.1 V or lower on R191 (IC106 pin 100 side)? YES Is approx. 1.2 V applied to IC103 pin 64? YES IC103 or IC106 is defective. YES Jack JK101 is defective, or the jack plug is in a poor contact with hands free kit. YES L105 is defective. YES C110, C105, and C109 are defective. YES R126 is defective. NO Jack JK101 is defective, or the jack plug is in a poor contact with hands free kit. (Monaural mode is set.) NO IC103 is defective. 4. BATTERY DOES NOT CHARGE. Set a battery of 3.7-3.8V and connect charger. NO Is 1.2V applied to C224? YES Is 1.2V or 0V applied to TP178? NO Is 0V applied between Q108 (FET) 1pin and 2pin ? NO Is 0V applied between Q108 (FET) 3pin and 4pin ? NO IC116 or IC103 is defective NO YES YES YES IC103 is defective TH101 or R148 is defective IC115 or R281 or R282 or R283 or C229 is defective. Q101 or R286 is defective. 5. VIBRATOR DOES NOT WORK. Are vibrator terminals in contact with the land? Are terminals and the land clean? YES Is rectangular wave of 3 V sent to between Vibrator terminals in sync with the vibration pattern? NO Is VBAT voltage applied to IC109 pin 5? NO YES NO Vibrator is deformed and defective. (When vibrator terminals and the land are dirty, clean or replace them.) Vibrator is defective. IC109 is soldered improperly. YES Is signal synchronized with the vibration pattern sent to IC109 pin 1? NO Is signal synchronized with the vibration pattern sent from IC105 pin 19? YES YES IC109 is defective. IC105 is soldered improperly. NO Is approx. 3 V applied to IC105 pin 7? YES C167 and C168 are defective. NO NO C167 and C168 good in appearance and mounted properly?
