Introducing the Digital TV (DTV) Button Descriptions The following table describes the buttons on the remote control's outside and inside panels. Outside Panel Button Description 1 MUTING Press to mute the sound. Press again or press VOL+ to restore the sound. 1 qj 2 SLEEP Press repeatedly until the DTV displays the time in 2 minutes (15, 30, 45, 60, or 90) that you want the DTV to 3 qk remain on before shutting off automatically. Cancel by 4 ql pressing until Sleep Off appears. While the Sleep feature is 5 set, press once to view remaining time. 3 PIC MODE w; Press repeatedly to step through the video picture modes: Vivid, Standard, Movie, Game, Pro. Also available in the Video menu. For details, see page 46. 6 4 ANT Press to change between the VHF/UHF input and the CABLE input. 7 5 WIDE MODE Press repeatedly to step through the Wide Mode settings: 8 wa Wide Zoom, Normal, Full, Zoom. Also available in the Screen 9 Mode menu. For details, see pages 37 and 50. 6 Use with 0 - 9 and ENTER buttons to select subchannels q; ws (for example, 2.1). For details on selecting subchannels, see page 32. qa wd 7 Press to display the i.LINK Control Panel. For details, see qh wk page 33. 9 MENU Press to display the DTV on-screen menu. Press again to exit from the menus. For details, see page 45. 0 VOL Press to adjust the volume. qa qs ADD FAVORITE qd DISPLAY qf FREEZE qg RESET Move the joystick B bVv to move the on-screen cursor. To select an item, press the center of the joystick ( ). Press to add the current channel to the Favorite Channels list. For details, see page 34. Press once to display the channel number, channel label (if set), time, and other information. Press again to turn Display off. Press to freeze the window picture. Press again to restore the picture. For details, see page 41. Press while a menu is displayed (pages 45 to 60) to reset the settings to the factory defaults. Also used to clear Favorite Channels (see page 36). 4
