Using the Menus Picture Settings Antenna Picture Picture Mode Reset Backlight Picture Brightness Color Hue Color Temp. White adjustment Sharpness Noise Reduction DRC Mode Description Vivid Select for enhanced picture contrast and sharpness. Standard Select for standard picture settings. Recommended for home entertainment. Custom Allows you to store your preferred settings. ✍ You can set up a Picture Mode (Vivid, Standard, Custom) independently for the TV input and for each video input (Video 1 to Video 8). Your Picture Mode settings are automatically saved upon selection. Resets the current settings to the default values (except for Advanced Settings). Adjust to brighten or darken the backlight. Adjust to increase or decrease picture contrast. Adjust to brighten or darken the picture. Adjust to increase or decrease color intensity. Adjust to increase or decrease the green tones. Cool Select to give the white colors a bluish tint. Neutral Select to give the white colors a neutral tint. Warm 1, 2 Select to give the white colors a reddish tint. Available only when Picture Mode is set to Custom. Adjust to sharpen or soften the picture. Select to reduce the noise level of connected equipment, and the VHF/UHF or cable inputs. Select from Auto, High, Medium, Low and Off. ✍ Auto is not available when you are using either HDMI or component connections. Produces a high-resolution picture for high-density sources (e.g., Blu-ray Disc Player, DVD Player, satellite receiver). Mode 1 Recommended mode. Mode 2 Only available for 1080i format. Mode 2 is especially effective when original standard-definition signals have been up-converted to 1080i format. Off Select to turn off DRC Mode. (Continued) 33
