Option Advanced Settings 3D Settings (except KDL-70/ 60R520A) Description Reset Adv. Contrast Enhancer Black Corrector Gamma Clear White Live Color LED Motion Mode Auto 3D Resets the advanced settings to the default values. Automatically adjusts backlight and contrast to the most suitable settings judging from the brightness of the screen. This setting is especially effective for dark scenes, and will increase the contrast distinction of the darker picture scenes. Select from High, Medium, Low and Off. Enhances black areas of the picture for stronger contrast. Select from High, Medium, Low and Off. Adjusts the balance between bright and dark areas of the picture. Emphasizes white colors. Select from High, Low and Off. Makes colors more vivid. Select from High, Medium, Low and Off. Lights up the backlight adequately, reducing blur in movies, but the brightness decreases. Select On to automatically switch to 3D display mode when a 3D signal is detected. 3D Signal Notification • The display mode does not change to 3D mode automatically, depending on the signal source or format. In this case, select 3D display mode manually. Select On to notify when a 3D signal is detected. • Available Picture options, including options in Advanced Settings depend on Scene Select and Picture Mode. Using the Menus 51
