For details on the use of your computer and operating system, please refer to the respective manuals.  By updating the Reader device software, you can ensure your Reader has the latest features. The latest software updates can be performed from the update menu on Reader Library Help - "Check for Updates". About Pre-loaded Contents Sample content is pre-installed in the Reader so that you can try them out right away. The pre-installed sample content is for the purpose of trial reading and viewing. Note  If you delete pre-installed sample content, you cannot restore it, and Sony will not supply any replacement content. On cleaning  Clean the Reader with a soft cloth, such as a cleaning cloth for eyeglasses.  If the Reader becomes very dirty, clean it with a soft cloth slightly moistened with water or a mild detergent solution.  Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder, or solvent, such as alcohol or benzene, as it may mar the finish of the case.  Tapping or dragging on the touch screen using a dirty stylus may damage the surface. On cleaning
