Operation 1 Press DRLC POWER. (The POWER switch on the receiver does not need to be turned on.) 2 To listen to CD or tape in the second room, set the CD player or tape deck into the play mode. 3 Control the system with the remote commander for the second room. The following examples illustrate program source options for the main and second room: Listening in the main room CD Tape Sound from TV Off Sound from video source (with surround effect) FM broadcast Listening in the second room FM broadcast CD Same sound from TV FM broadcast Second room system defeated Off Notes • The surround system in the main room and DRLC function cannot be operated simultaneously. • When the receiver receives a remote control signal from the second room, the DRLC POWER switch flashes. During this flashing, the receiver cannot receive the remote control signal from the main room. • You cannot use the following functions from the second room. - Surround effect - Equalizer control - DBFB effect - Muting - TAPE 2 MONITOR Please refer to the operating instructions of RM-S2020K for details. 33
