(STR-DA4ES) Press 2ND ROOM. 3 Turn the jog dial to select the source signals you wish to output. For 2ND ROOM (Video and analog audio signals) The sources change cyclically as follows: SOURCE* t VIDEO 1 t VIDEO 2 t VIDEO 3 t DVD/LD t TV/SAT t TAPE t MD/DAT t CD/SACD t TUNER For 3RD ROOM (STR-DA7ES only) (Analog audio signals only) The sources change cyclically as follows: SOURCE* t VIDEO 1 t VIDEO 2 t VIDEO 3 t DVD/LD t TV/SAT t TAPE t MD/DAT t CD/SACD t TUNER * The signals of the current function is output. Tips • Only signals from components connected to the analog input jacks are output through the 2ND ROOM OUT jacks. No signals are output from components connected to only the digital input jacks. • When "SOURCE" is selected, the signals input to the MULTI CH IN jacks are not output from the 2ND ROOM OUT jacks even when MULTI CH DIRECT is selected. The analog audio signals of the current function are output. Notes • When you turn off the receiver in the main room, the components in the 2nd or 3rd room also turn off. • The default setting of the volume is -∞ dB (no sound output). continued 67GB

You can select video and analog audio signals
for output to another room.

Press POWER (2ND ROOM) or POWER
(3RD ROOM) (STR-DA7ES only) to turn
on the amplifier in the 2nd room or 3rd
room (STR-DA7ES only).

(STR-DA7ES) Press 2ND/3RD ROOM
repeatedly to select “2ND ROOM” or
“3RD ROOM”.
(STR-DA4ES) Press 2ND ROOM.

Turn the jog dial to select the source
signals you wish to output.

Tips
•

ROOM OUT jacks. No signals are output from
components connected to only the digital input
jacks.

When “SOURCE” is selected, the signals input to
the MULTI CH IN jacks are not output from the
2ND ROOM OUT jacks even when MULTI CH
DIRECT is selected. The analog audio signals of
the current function are output.
Notes
•
