Tighten tommy screw - throttle cable

N Remove the tommy screw - washer (6) remains on the tommy screw N Separate clamps - springs (4, 5) remain in the lower clamp! Fastening the handlebar A 8 7 English Attaching the control handle 250BA046 KN 002BA234 KN 1 N Position the handlebar (7) in the lower clamp (1) so that distance (A) is not more than 6 in. (15 cm) N Place the upper clamp on top and hold both clamps together N Insert the tommy screw with the washer on it through both clamps as far as it will go - hold all parts together and secure them N Position the entire secured assembly on the handlebar support (8) with the tommy screw facing the motor N Press the tommy screw into the handlebar support as far as it will go and then screw it in - do not tighten it down yet N Align the handlebar so that it is perpendicular to the shaft - check distance (A) N Tighten tommy screw N Unscrew the bolt (9) - the nut (10) remains in the control handle (11) N Push the control handle with the throttle trigger (12) facing toward the gearbox onto the end of the handlebar (7) until the holes (13) align N Screw in and tighten the bolt (9) Fastening the throttle cable Do not kink the throttle cable or run it in tight radiuses - the throttle trigger must move freely! Remove the tommy screw –
washer (6) remains on the tommy
screw

Separate clamps – springs (4, 5)
remain in the lower clamp!
Fastening the handlebar

Position the handlebar (7) in the
lower clamp (1) so that distance (A)
is not more than 6 in. (15 cm)
N
Place the upper clamp on top and
hold both clamps together
N
Insert the tommy screw with the
washer on it through both clamps as
far as it will go – hold all parts
together and secure them
N
Position the entire secured
assembly on the handlebar
support (8) with the tommy screw
facing the motor
N
Press the tommy screw into the
handlebar support as far as it will go
and then screw it in – do not tighten
it down yet
N
Align the handlebar so that it is
perpendicular to the shaft – check
distance (A)
N
Tighten tommy screw
Attaching the control handle
N
Unscrew the bolt (9) – the nut (10)
remains in the control handle (11)
N
Push the control handle with the
throttle trigger (12) facing toward
the gearbox onto the end of the
handlebar (7) until the holes (13)
align
N
Screw in and tighten the bolt (9)
Fastening the throttle cable
Do not kink the throttle cable or run it in
tight radiuses – the throttle trigger must
move freely!
