English Always remove the battery before carrying out any work on the power tool. Condition Cause Remedy Battery or power tool circuitry too hot Take the battery out of the power tool; allow the battery and power tool to cool down Electric or electromagnetic interference Remove the battery and refit it again Power tool cuts out during operation Mowing overlong grass or cutting height Allow power tool to cool down, adjust set too low cutting height to suit conditions Mowing speed too high Allow power tool to cool down, reduce speed Cooling inlets dirty Allow power tool to cool down, clean cooling air openings in motor housing Battery is not fully charged Charge the battery Mowing high or damp grass Adjust cutting height and mowing speed to suit conditions Running time is too short Mower housing blocked Blade dull or worn Useful life of battery has been reached or exceeded Clean mower housing Resharpen1) or replace blade Check battery1) and replace Battery jams when being inserted in power tool / charger Guides / contacts dirty Battery too hot / too cold Battery is not being charged even though the (1 light emitting diode on battery glows light emitting diode on the charger glows red) green Carefully clean the guides / contacts Allow battery to cool down / at temperatures of about 59°F - 68°F (15°C - 20°C), allow battery to warm up slowly Operate charger only in closed, dry rooms at ambient temperatures of 41°F 104°F (5°C - 40°C) No electrical contact between charger Remove the battery and refit it again and battery Light emitting diode on charger flashes red Fault in battery (4 light emitting diodes on battery flash red for about 5 seconds) Take the battery out of the power tool and refit it.
