➜ remote start functions This system includes several ways to utilize the remote start feature for your convenience and comfort when driving or parked, while still maintaining a high level of vehicle security. • remote start is used to warm the engine and control the interior temperature for entering and driving the vehicle. • valet takeover activates remote start while the engine is running to maintain the vehicle interior temperature during short trips away from the vehicle. • turbo mode remote start will keep the engine running for a short period of time after parking, allowing the turbo timer to cool down before the engine turns off. • timer mode remote start is for use when parking the vehicle for an extended period of time in extreme cold.
