X/DELETE • Press to delete the playing message or playing announcement. • While reviewing the redial list, directory or caller ID log, press to delete an individual entry. • While entering names or numbers, press to delete a character or digit. /REPEAT • Press once to repeat the playing message. • Press twice to play the previous message. /SKIP • Press to skip to the next message during message playback. 5 - MUTE • During a call, press to mute the microphone. • While the phone is ringing, press to silence the base ringer temporarily. VOL • During a call or message playback, press to adjust the listening volume. • Press to adjust the telephone base ringer volume when the base is not in use. /ANS ON/OFF • Press to turn the built-in answering system on or off.
