11 Setups Accounting Accounting allows the System Administrator to track the use of the machine and control access to the features. There are three accounting options: • Network Accounting • Xerox Standard Accounting • Foreign Device Interface Tools > Accounting > Accounting Enablement Network Accounting Network Accounting provides the System Administrator with the ability to track the use of the device per job per account. Users must enter their User ID and Account ID to access the machine and information about the jobs performed are stored in a job log. Copy, Print, inbound and outbound Embedded Fax, outbound Server Fax, E-mail and Network Scanning jobs are tracked (if these options are installed on the device). The machine requires the Network Accounting Kit to be installed and network access to a Xerox approved External Accounting System. NOTE: The Network Accounting feature is mutually exclusive from any other accounting feature.
