Then, when you start playing, re-adjust the [MASTER VOLUME] slider for the most comfortable listening level. NOTE To learn characteristics of the voices, listen to demo songs for each voice (page 15). Refer to "Preset Voice List" on page 55 for more information on the characteristics of each preset voice. TERMINOLOGY Voice: On the Clavinova, a voice means a "tone" or "tonal color." NOTE You can control the loudness of a voice by adjusting the force with which you strike the keys, although different playing styles (touch sensitivities) have little or no effect with certain musical instruments.
