Tuner Mode This mode is used for tuning your guitar. In the Tuner Mode, the DG-Stomp works as a chromatic tuner. s How to Enter the Tuner Mode To enter the Tuner Mode, use any one of the methods described below. • Simultaneously press the [UTILITY] button and the [STORE] button. • In the Play Mode, hold the BANK switch until "tu" appears on the display. (The Tuner Mode comes after the Bank Select Mode.) • In the Bank Select Mode, hold the BANK switch until "tu" appears on the display. When the pitch is low, the CHORUS and FLANGER lamps will light. When the pitch is high, the ROTARY and TREMOLO lamps will light. Tune the note until only the PHASER lamp lights. Tuning is complete. (At this time the BANK switch's lamp will also light.) Tuning is complete Raise the pitch Lower the pitch In the Tuner Mode, each of the DG-Stomp's outputs (OUTPUT, PHONES, DIGITAL OUT) will be muted (does not produce any sound). 3. Press the [UTILITY] button or the BANK switch to return to the Play Mode. s Tuning The name of the note closest to that which you played will appear in the display, and five lamps will be used to indicate whether the note's pitch is high, low or correct. 1. To change the standard pitch, use the [UP]/ [DOWN] buttons. (Refer to "Setting the Standard Pitch".) 2. Play the note you want to tune (play only a single note). At first, tune the guitar so that the note name of the note you want to tune to appears in the display. Notes are displayed as follows. A Bb C Db D Eb E F Gb G Ab A bb C db d Eb E F Gb G Ab s Setting the Standard Pitch Usually the standard pitch is set to A-440Hz, there are some cases in which the standard pitch of an acoustic piano, etc. is not 440Hz. The standard pitch of the DG-Stomp can be set anywhere from 436Hz to 444Hz. 1. In the Tuner Mode, press the [UP] button or the [DOWN] button and the standard pitch will appear on the display. * When the DG-Stomp's power is switched ON, the standard pitch is set to 440Hz. 2. Every time the [UP] button is pressed the standard pitch will increase by 1Hz. Likewise, every time the [DOWN] button is pressed the standard pitch will decrease by 1Hz. 22

Tuner Mode
When the pitch is low, the CHORUS and
FLANGER lamps will light. When the pitch is high,
the ROTARY and TREMOLO lamps will light.
Tune the note until only the PHASER lamp lights.
Tuning is complete. (At this time the BANK
switch’s lamp will also light.)
This mode is used for tuning your guitar. In the Tuner Mode, the DG-Stomp works as a chro-
matic tuner.
How to Enter the Tuner Mode
To enter the Tuner Mode, use any one of the meth-
ods described below.
Simultaneously press the [UTILITY] button and
the [STORE] button.
• In the Play Mode, hold the BANK switch until
tu
” appears on the display. (The Tuner Mode
comes after the Bank Select Mode.)
In the Bank Select Mode, hold the BANK switch
until “
tu
” appears on the display.
In the Tuner Mode, each of the DG-Stomp’s
outputs (OUTPUT, PHONES, DIGITAL OUT)
will be muted (does not produce any sound).
3.
Press the [UTILITY] button or the BANK switch
to return to the Play Mode.

Tuning
The name of the note closest to that which you
played will appear in the display, and five lamps will
be used to indicate whether the note’s pitch is high,
low or correct.

To change the standard pitch, use the [UP]/
[DOWN] buttons. (Refer to “Setting the Standard
Pitch”.)

Play the note you want to tune (play only a single
note).
At first, tune the guitar so that the note name of
the note you want to tune to appears in the dis-
play.

Setting the Standard Pitch
Usually the standard pitch is set to A-440Hz, there
are some cases in which the standard pitch of an
acoustic piano, etc. is not 440Hz.
The standard pitch of the DG-Stomp can be set any-
where from 436Hz to 444Hz.

In the Tuner Mode, press the [UP] button or the
[DOWN] button and the standard pitch will ap-
pear on the display.

When the DG-Stomp’s power is switched ON, the standard
pitch is set to 440Hz.

Every time the [UP] button is pressed the stan-
dard pitch will increase by 1Hz. Likewise, every
time the [DOWN] button is pressed the standard
pitch will decrease by 1Hz.
