Connecting to Other Devices Connecting to a Computer or Smart Device Connecting a computer or a smart device such as a smartphone or tablet allows you to enjoy the features shown below. The method of connections varies depending on the connected device or your intended use. • Transmitting/receiving audio data (USB Audio interface function) Connect a computer or a smart device to the [USB TO HOST] terminal via a USB cable. For details, refer to page 78. • Listening to audio data from a smart device through this instrument (Bluetooth audio function) Connect a smart device and this instrument via Bluetooth. For details, refer to page 79. • Using smart device apps by connecting to a smart device The two powerful apps, "Smart Pianist" and "Rec'n'Share," can be used with this instrument. Refer to page 81 for "Smart Pianist" and page 88 for "Rec'n'Share." Connecting to a computer By connecting a computer to the [USB TO HOST] terminal via a USB cable, you can transfer MIDI data or Audio data between the instrument and the computer. For instructions on connecting to a computer, refer to page 78. Connecting to a Smart Device The smart device such as a smartphone or tablet can be connected to this instrument via the following methods. • Connecting via USB cables Connect the smart device to the [USB TO HOST] terminal via USB cables. For details, refer to page 88. • Connecting via Bluetooth Connect the smart device to this instrument wirelessly via Bluetooth. For details, refer to pages 79 and 82. • Connecting via Wi-Fi (by using the USB wireless LAN adaptor) Connect the smart device to this instrument via Wi-Fi by using the separately sold USB wireless LAN adaptor, UD-WL01. For details, refer to page 83. *The USB wireless LAN adaptor UD-WL01 may not be available depending on your area. NOTICE Do not place your smart device in an unstable position.
