Using Smart Device Apps with a Connected Smart Device You can use the two smart device apps, "Smart Pianist" and "Rec'n'Share" (page 88) by connecting a smart device such as a smartphone or tablet. The intuitive visual also helps you easily to confirm the current settings of the instrument. After installing the "Smart Pianist" app on your smart device from the website above, connect this instrument to the device via the following three methods. • Connecting via Bluetooth (page 82) • Connecting via USB cables (page 82) • Connecting via Wi-Fi (by using the separately sold UD-WL01 wireless LAN adaptor) (page 83) The "Connection Wizard" of Smart Pianist guides you in properly connecting the smart device to the instrument properly. For more information on how to connect the device and use the app, refer to the "Smart Pianist User Guide" on the following website. NOTICE • Activating the "Smart Pianist" app while the instrument is connected to the smart device overwrites the settings on the instrument by that of "Smart Pianist." Save your important setup data as a backup file to a USB flash drive (page 90). • Do not place your smart device in an unstable position. Doing so may cause the device to fall and result in damage. NOTE When using the "Smart Pianist" app, you cannot use any buttons on the instrument other than the [EXIT] button. Control the instrument by using "Smart Pianist."
