About the Menu Settings About the Menu Settings Menu and menu item list Menu items are categorized into three main menus: [REC MENU] (Recording settings), [PLAY MENU] (Playback settings) and [COMMON MENU] (Global settings). ■ [REC MENU] (Recording settings) Menu items [REC MODE] [REC LIMITER] [HPF] [STEREO WIDE] [REC SELECT] [AUTO DIVIDE] [SELF TIMER] [VAS] Description Sets the recording quality. Turns the Recording peak limiter on or off. Turns the High Pass (Low Cut) filter on or off. Turns the Stereo wide recording on or off. Selects a source connected to the external input jack. Divides the file automatically after a certain period of silence during recording. Sets the time for the Self Timer recording. Turns the VAS (Voice activated system) on or off.
