REMOTE CONTROL SENSOR 18 19 Installing Batteries in the Remote Control The remote control is powered by batteries, requiring 'AA' type batteries for operation. To ensure reliable operation, change the batteries about once a year. Caution : Batteries installed incorrectly may leak and damage the remote control. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries (for example, standard and alkaline). 1. Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it in the direction shown. 2.
