This field shows whether data encryption is activated (WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPAPSK or WPA2-PSK) or inactive (DISABLE). Click Back to return to the previous screen. Click Save to save the changes back to the G-302 v3 and display the Link Info screen. Click Exit to discard changes and return to the Site Survey screen. 3.3 The Profile Screen A profile is a set of wireless parameters that you need to connect to a wireless network. With a profile activated, each time you start the G-302 v3, it automatically scans for the specific SSID and joins that network with the pre-defined wireless security settings. If the specified network is not available, the G-302 v3 will be disconnected. If you do not configure and activate a profile, each time you start the G-302 v3, the G-302 v3 uses the default profile to connect to any available network with security disabled. The default profile is a profile that allows you to connect to any SSID without security. 42 Chapter 3 ZyXEL Utility Configuration
