Front air bag activation A greater than moderate impact will cause the front air bags to inflate in the following cases: l l Frontal impact within about a 30 degree range from head-on to the vehicle. Hitting a solid wall straight on at greater than about 22 km/h (14 mph). l Driving into a big hole or hitting the far side of a hole. l Hitting a curb, pavement edge or hard object. l Landing hard or the vehicle falling. 2-68 Form No.8T50-EA-04G
