SPA0385 SPA0386 When opening the back door, first open the spare tire carrier in the sequence shown in the illustration above. Then insert the stopper into the hole to secure the carrier in the open position. ¼ Before driving, be certain that the spare tire carrier is firmly closed and latched. ¼ Failure to do so may injure pedestrians or damage the vehicle. ¼ Be certain that there is adequate area to allow the carrier to open fully. ¼ Open and close the spare tire carrier slowly. 2-7
