What to Use Use a mixture of one-halfcEean water (preferably distilled) and one-halfDEX-COOL@ coolant which won't damage aluminumparts. Damage caused bythe use of coolant other than DEX-COOL@ is not covered by your newvehicle warranty. If you use this mixture, you don't needto add anything else. NOTICE: If you use an improper coolant mix, your engine could overheat andbe badly damaged. The repair cost wouldn't be covered by your warranty. Too much water in the mix can freeze crack the and engine, radiator, heater core and other parts. If you have to add coolant more than four times ayear, have your dealer check your cooling system. Adding only plain water to your cooling system can be dangerous. Plain water,or some other liquid like alcohol, can boil before the proper coolant mixwill. Your vehicle's coolant warning system is set for the proper coolant With mix. plain water or the wrongmix, your engine could get too hotbut you wouldn't get the overheat warning. Your engine could catch fire and or you others could be burned. a 50150 mix of clean Use water and DEX-COOL@coolant.
