INSTRUMENT PANEL Tape Seek (less than 0.5 seconds) When this button is pressed for less than 0.5 seconds during tape playback, fast forward is started and the beginning of the next track is played automatically. At this time, if the button is pressed again or if the end of the tape is reached, fast forward is stopped and the tape will play normally. The run direction and "A-FF" signal appears on the VFD while this function is operating. Tape Manual Program (more than 0.5 seconds) If this button is pressed for more than 0.5 seconds during tape playback, the unit will switch to FF. If this button is pressed again, or the tape reaches it's end, the FF function stops. The run direction or "FF" signal appear on the VFD while this function is operating. Volume Control Each time you press the up button quickly during normal operation, the volume is increased, and the volume level appears digitally on the VFD. Conversely, each time you press the down button, the volume is decreased and the volume level appears on the VFD. When you hold in the up/down button, the volume increases or decreases continuously. Downward Min. volume 00 01 02 10 11 20 21 30 31 39 Upward Max. volume 40 41 86Z010 "00" indicates minimum volume, and "41" indicates maximum volume. Each time the control button is pressed, the volume level information on the VFD increases or decreases, and after about 3 seconds, the VFD display returns to normal. 3-39

time, if the button is pressed again or if the
