INSTRUMENT PANEL Track Introduction: To quickly and conveniently scan the track, use the "3/INT" button (6). "INTRO" will be displayed in VFD and the audio system will play the first 10 seconds of each track. When the player reaches the desired track, press this button again and normal play will resume. Random Play: To play a CD disc in random order, press the "4/RDM" button (6). The "RDM" will be displayed in VFD and the audio system will play the CD disc in random order. To cancel this function, press this button once again. MP3 PLAYER OPERATION Insert an MP3 disc to play the compressed audio format: MP3. The audio system can support various disc formats. (Masked CD/CD-R/CD-RW) An MP3 disc operates in the same manner as an audio CD. (Load/Eject/Play & Pause/RPT/INT/RDM) MP3 File Name Display If a disc has loaded, the audio system will detect the type of disc, either an audio disc or an MP3 disc and it will be displayed on the VFD. If the detected disc is an MP3, the file name will be displayed on the VFD in a scrolled manner from the left side to the right. Directory Mode Selection Button: 1) Press this button (5) to repeatedly play the directory of the currently played MP3 file. "[DIR]" will be displayed on the VFD. 2) Press this button again to play the overall MP3 directory of the disc. "[ALL]" will be displayed on the VFD. MP3 File Up & Down: 1) To play the next MP3 file, knob (4) clockwise. Each rotate the knob, the disc will next file. 2) To play the previous MP3 this knob counterclockwise. rotate this time you skip to the file, rotate Each time you rotate the knob, the disc will skip to the previous file. Directory Up & Down: 1) To search a desired directory, press the "5/DN" or "6/UP" button. 2) The directory name will be displayed on the VFD. 3) After reaching the desired directory, the audio system will automatically start playing from the first MP3 file of the directory. NOTE: • The audio system can support multisession recorded discs. • If the MP3 disc has multisession, it takes a few time to read the disc. 3-46

MP3 PLAYER OPERATION
