If You Want to Use Your iPod With a Mac and a Windows PC If you are using your iPod with a Mac and you want to use it with a Windows PC (or vice versa), you must restore the iPod software for use with the other computer using iPod Software Update (see "iPod Software Update and Restore" below). Restoring the iPod software erases all data from iPod, including all songs. If you are using your iPod with a Mac and you want to use it with a Windows PC (or
vice versa), you must restore the iPod software for use with the other computer using
