5.4.6 Chipset Configuration The Chipset Configuration menu allows you to change the advanced chipset settings. Select an item then press to display the sub-menu. Advanced BIOS SETUP UTILITY Advanced Chipset Settings WARNING: Setting wrong values in below sections may cause system to malfunction. North Bridge Configuration Advanced BIOS SETUP UTILITY North Bridge chipset Configuration Memory Remap Feature [Enabled] PCI MMIO Allocation: 4GB To 3584MB DRAM Frequency [Auto] Configure DRAM Timing by SPD [Enabled] Initiate Graphic Adapter [PEG/PCI] PEG Port Configuration PEG Port [Auto] ENABLE: Allow remapping of overlapped PCI memory above the total physical memory. DISABLE: Do not allow remapping of memory. Memory Remap Feature [Enabled] Allows you to enable or disable the remapping of the overlapped PCI memory above the total physical memory. Enable this option only when you install 64-bit operating system. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] DRAM Frequency [Auto] Allows you to set the DDR operating frequency. Configuration options: [Auto] [667 MHz] [800 MHz] Configure DRAM Timing by SPD [Enabled] When this item is enabled, the DRAM timing parameters are set according to the DRAM SPD (Serial Presence Detect). When disabled, you can manually set the DRAM timing parameters through the DRAM sub-items.
