However, switches inside the remote battery case can be changed. Similar changes may be required for any additional remotes purchased for use in other rooms. Slide open the battery compartment on the back of the remote (Figure 17). 2. Insert four AAA or IEC-LR3 1.5V batteries, or the equivalent, as shown. System maintenance
Changing the remote control batteries is the only
regular maintenance required.
However, switches inside the remote battery case can
be changed. Similar changes may be required for any
additional remotes purchased for use in other rooms.

Replacing the remote control batteries
Replace all four batteries when the remote control
stops operating or its range seems reduced. Alkaline

1.
Slide open the battery compartment on the back of
the remote (Figure 17).
2.
Insert four AAA or IEC-LR3 1.5V batteries, or the
equivalent, as shown. Match the + and – symbols
on the batteries with the + and – markings inside
the compartment.

Slide the battery compartment cover back into
place.
