Getting Started Transporting the Copier Please observe the following precautions when transporting this copier. Carrying the Copier by the Carrying Handle Transporting the Copier 1 • Before moving the copier, always turn the power OFF and unplug the copier from its power source. • Before moving the copier, be sure to disconnect the power cord from the copier. Fold the trays up as shown in the illustration, and insert the trays into the opening between the disc and the platen cover. Then pull out the carrying handle. (See "Parts and Their Functions", • If the copier will be subjected to on p. 15.) any vibrations (e.g., when transporting long distances), remove the cartridge from the copier. • Before operating the copier again after it has been moved, slide the platen all the way to the right and then back to the center position by hand. Fold the trays up as shown in the
