Various Shooting Methods 95 Using the Button 1 Press the button. • :The Face Select mode activates. • : The settings advance each time the button is pressed. • : The corresponding setup screen is displayed. • : The white balance data is read each time the button is pressed. Since the frame does not appear at this point, ensure that the white paper or cloth is positioned so it appears at the center of the LCD monitor and then press the button. After using this function once, the white balance setting changes to the custom white balance setting. • : The LCD monitor turns off when you press the button. It powers back on when you press a button other than the power button or when you change the camera's vertical/ horizontal orientation. • : The button can be used in place of the shutter button when the camera is held vertically. The white balance data is read each time the

is pressed. Since the frame does not appear at this point,
ensure that the white paper or cloth is positioned so it appears
at the center of the LCD monitor and then press the
