Assigning IPv4 Addresses When Cameras Are Detected IP addresses can be assigned simultaneously with the detection of cameras by this tool. Assignment can be carried out in the following ways. • Specify the IPv4 address range and automatically assign detected cameras • Load the file (camera specification file) describing the IP addresses Opening the [Camera Search Settings] Dialog Box With the initial settings of this tool, the [Camera Search Settings] dialog box opens when the tool launches. To open the [Camera Search Settings] dialog box after the tool has launched, select [File] > [Camera Search Settings]. Note If you select the [Do not show on next startup] check box and then close the [Camera Search Settings] dialog box, the [Camera Search Settings] dialog box will no longer appear when this tool is subsequently launched. Assigning a Specified Range of IP Addresses to Cameras Automatically Perform the following operation in the [Camera Search Settings] dialog box. Note The automatic assignment of IP addresses in a specified range is only available for cameras that still have the factory default IP address (192.168.100.1) set. 1 Select [Assign an IP address in the specified range.] and click [Specify Range]. The [IPv4 Address Assignment Settings] dialog box appears. 36

Assigning a Specified Range of IP Addresses to Cameras Automatically
Perform the following operation in the [Camera Search Settings] dialog box.
Note
