Restore the Camera to the Initial Settings You can batch restore default settings to multiple cameras. Important • Never turn the power of a camera off during the process to restore the default settings. If the power is turned off, the camera may no longer operate normally. • The process to restore the default settings cannot be stopped. • All settings are restored to factory default settings except for network information and date/time information. You should back up the current settings before restoring the default settings (P. 56). 1 In the camera list, select the cameras to restore to default settings. 2 Select [Maintenance] > [Restore the camera to the initial settings]. A dialog box appears for confirming whether to restore the selected cameras to the default settings. 3 Click [Yes]. All user settings except the following items will be erased and restored to the factory default settings after the restart. • Administrator password of the basic settings, LAN, IPv4, IPv6 • Date and Time • Host access limitation in security • SSL / TLS • 802.1X Camera Maintenance 5 63

You can batch restore default settings to multiple cameras.
A dialog box appears for confirming whether to restore the selected cameras to the default settings.
All user settings except the following items will be erased and restored to the factory default settings after the
restart.
