28 C H A P T E R Modifying the Switch Boot Configuration This chapter describes how to modify the switch boot configuration, including the BOOT environment variable and the configuration register on the Catalyst enterprise LAN switches. When the switch is powered up or reset, the ROM-monitor code is executed.
