3. Remove the heat sink (2). NOTE: The thermal material must be thoroughly cleaned from the surfaces of the system board (1) and (2), and the heat sink components (3) and (4) each time the heat sink is removed. Replacement thermal material is included with all heat sink, system board, and processor spare part kits. NOTE: Steps 4 through 6 apply only to HP Compaq 6730s Notebook PC models with Intel processors with UMA subsystem memory.
