Connecting and Disconnecting the Computer Connecting External Devices To connect devices to the MEU: 1. Turn off power to the computer, MEU, and all devices. 2. Connect external devices to the connectors on the MEU rear panel and turn on power to all devices. ✎ To complete the device connections, some manufacturers require that you install software drivers. Refer to the documentation included with the device for details. Operating External Devices To ensure that devices connected to the MEU are activated, refer to the following guidelines: I When adding a device to or removing a device from the MEU, turn off power to the computer, MEU, and applicable devices before connecting or disconnecting.
