Glossary 3 IP Address LAN Load balancing NIC Node NTFS Operating System Dependent (OSD) layer Oracle Parallel Server Option Oracle Universal Installer POST Raw partition RAID Internet Protocol Address. An address assigned to a network interface card, which computer entities use to locate and communicate with each other. IP addresses can be statically or dynamically assigned. Local Area Network.
