Mower Set-Up NOTE: This unit is shipped without gasoline or oil in the engine. Fill up with gasoline and oil as instructed in the Engine Operator's Manual BEFORE operating your mower. Unfolding the Handle Remove any packing material which may be between the handle and mower. 1. Tighten star knobs securing lower and upper handles together. 2. Push down on the handle adjustment lever with your foot. See Figure 2-1. Figure 2-2 4. The handle height can be adjusted to one of two positions. Push down on the handle adjustment lever with your foot and place the handle into the most comfortable operating position. See Figure 2-3. Attaching the Grass Catcher (If Equipped) NOTE: Mower ships with mulching blade installed. Before attaching the grass chatcher ensure ensure the high lift blades are installed for proper grass catcher operation. 1. Follow steps below to assemble the grass catcher. Make certain bag is turned right side out before assembling (warning label will be on the outside). a. Place bag over frame so that its black plastic side is at the bottom. b. Slip plastic channel of grass bag over hooks on the frame. See Figure 2-4. Figure 2-1 3. Pivot the handle into operating position. Be careful not to crimp cables. Mower Set-Up
NOTE:
This unit is shipped without gasoline or
oil in the engine. Fill up with gasoline and oil
as instructed in the Engine Operator’s Manual
BEFORE operating your mower.
Unfolding the Handle
Remove any packing material which may be
between the handle and mower.
1.
Tighten star knobs securing lower and
upper handles together.
2.
Push down on the handle adjustment
lever with your foot. See Figure 2-1.

Be careful not to crimp cables.

Attaching the Grass Catcher

NOTE:
