xStack DES-3800 Series Layer 3 Stackable Fast Ethernet Managed Switch CLI Manual show dhcp_relay Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Used to display the current DHCP/BOOTP relay configuration. show dhcp_relay {ipif } This command will display the current DHCP relay configuration for the Switch, or if an IP interface name is specified, the DHCP relay configuration for that IP interface. ipif - The name of the IP interface for which to display the current DHCP relay configuration. None. Example usage: To show the DHCP relay configuration: DES-3800:admin#show dhcp_relay Command: show dhcp_relay DHCP/BOOTP Relay Status : Enabled DHCP/BOOTP Hops Count Limit : 2 DHCP/BOOTP Relay Time Threshold : 23 DHCP Relay Agent Information Option 82 State : Enabled DHCP Relay Agent Information Option 82 Check : Enabled DHCP Relay Agent Information Option 82 Policy : Replace Interface ----------System Server 1 Server 2 Server 3 10.58.44.6 Server 4 ----------- DES-3800:admin# Example usage: To show a single IP destination of the DHCP relay configuration: DES-3800:admin#show dhcp_relay ipif System Command: show dhcp_relay ipif System Interface ----------System Server 1 Server 2 Server 3 10.58.44.6 Server 4 ---------- DES-3800:admin# enable dhcp_relay Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Used to enable the DHCP/BOOTP relay function on the Switch. enable dhcp_relay This command is used to enable the DHCP/BOOTP relay function on the Switch. If the DHCP server is enabled, DHCP relay can not be enabled. The opposite is also true None. Only Administrator or Operator-level users can issue this command.
