Incremented each time for frames received, which exceed cntMaxSize bytes (or cntMaxSize + 4 bytes if VLAN tagged) to MAXFRAME size, and contain a valid FCS and is otherwise well formed. Receive Fragment Counter. Incremented for each packet received such that (size < = 63) and contains an invalid FCS or Alignment errors. Receive Jabber Frame Counter. Incremented for frames received which exceed cntMaxSize bytes (or cntMaxSize+4 bytes if VLAN tagged) and contain invalid FCS or code error detected. Receive Code Error Frame Counter. Incremented for the count of times where there was an invalid data symbol when a valid carrier was present. Receive Drop Packet Counter. Incremented for packets received dropped due to ANY condition. Partial drop cases are listed here: • MTU drop: frames received which exceeds MAXFR (Maximum Frame) in length and contains a valid or invalid FCS. • Buffer Full Drop: packet that is discarded while input buffer full. • ACL Drop: packet that is denied by ACLs. • Multicast Drop: multicast packet that is discarded. • VLAN Ingress Drop: packet that is discarded by VLAN ingress checking. • Invalid IPv6: IPv6 L3 discards. • STP Drop: packets dropped when ingress port is not in forwarding state. • Storm and FDB Discard: receive policy discard (i.e. DST_DISCARD, SRC_DISCARD, RATE_CONTROL, etc.). • Invalid Destination Port: packets dropped due to port bitmap of zero condition. This item includes ANY condition packets can't be forwarded properly in the ingress pipeline. Eg: Illegal packets are received (such as packets with zero DEST and/or SRC MAC or packets with identical DEST and SRC MAC), IPv4 L3 discarded packets, no linked ports in the same forwarding domain (eg, same VLAN forwarding domain and ingress VLAN check passed), etc. Transmit Total Collision Counter. 10/100 mode only-incremented by the total number of collisions experienced during the transmission. Received Error Packet Counter. Incremented for received packets which contained errors (including Frame Check Sequence error, undersize, oversize and symbol error) preventing them from being deliverable to a higher-layer protocol. Transmit Error Packet Counter. Incremented for outbound packets which could not be transmitted because of errors (including Frame Check Sequence error and oversize packets). Receive Discards Packet Counter. It's equal to rxDropPkts. Receive Discards Unknown and Unsupported protocol Counter .Incremented for packets received, which were discarded because of an unknown or unsupported protocol. Transmit Discards Packet Counter. Incremented for packets transmitted which are dropped due to any condition. Partial drop cases are listed here: • HOL drop: Packets dropped due to Head Of Line blocking per egress port. • STP drop: Packets dropped due to Spanning Tree State of egress port is not in forwarding state. • IPV4/6 L3 UC Aged drop: packets dropped due to transmit IPv4/6 L3 UC Aged. • IPV4/6 IPMC Aged drop: packets dropped due to transmit IPv4/6 IPMC Aged. • MTU drop: packets dropped due to L2 MTU fail. • TTL drop: packets dropped due to TTL threshold. • VLAN drop: packets dropped due to invalid VLAN. 487
