DXS-3400 Series Lite Layer 3 Stackable 10GbE Managed Switch CLI Reference Guide 94. sFlow Commands 94-1 sflow receiver This command is used to configure a receiver for the sFlow agent. Receivers cannot be added to or removed from the sFlow agent. Use the no form of this command to revert one receiver to the default settings. sflow receiver INDEX [owner NAME] [expiry {SECONDS | infinite}] [max-datagram-size SIZE] [host {IPADDRESS | IPV6-ADDRESS}] [udp-port PORT] no sflow receiver INDEX Parameters INDEX owner NAME expiry SECONDS infinite max-datagram-size SIZE host IP-ADDRESS host IPV6-ADDRESS udp-port PORT Specifies the index of the receivers. (Optional) Specifies the owner name of the receiver with a maximum of 32 characters. The user cannot directly configure the owner as an empty string. (Optional) Specifies the expiration time for the entry. The parameter of the entry will reset when the timer expired. The range is from 0 to 2000000. The user cannot directly configure the expiry timer as 0. (Optional) Specifies that the entry will not be expired. (Optional) Specifies the maximum number of data bytes of a single sFlow datagram. The valid range is from 700 to 1400. (Optional) Specifies the IPv4 address of the remote sFlow collector. (Optional) Specifies the IPv6 address of the remote sFlow collector. (Optional) Specifies the UDP port of the remote sFlow collector. The default is 6343. The range is from 1 to 65535. Default The default owner name is an empty string. The expiry timer is 0 seconds. The maximum datagram size is 1400 bytes. The receiver IP address is 0.0.0.0. The UDP port number is 6343. Command Mode Global Configuration Mode. Command Default Level Level: 12. Usage Guideline The sFlow agent has a fix number of receivers distinguished by index. They are created in reset the state by the system and cannot be removed. Configure the owner of an entry before configuring other parameters of the entry. The owner of an entry can only be configured when the entry is in the reset state. The user cannot configure the owner name as an empty string. Once the owner is configured, it cannot be changed directly. It can only be reset by the no sflow receiver command. Use the no sflow receiver command to reset the receiver. When a receiver expired, the receiver is disabled and the receiver entry will be reset to the default settings. The expiration timer starts to count down when its value is configured. The user cannot configure the expiry timer as 0. 892

sflow receiver

This command is used to configure a receiver for the sFlow agent. Receivers cannot be added to or removed from

the sFlow agent. Use the

Specifies the index of the receivers.

owner

(Optional) Specifies the owner name of the receiver with a maximum of 32

characters. The user cannot directly configure the owner as an empty string.

SECONDS

(Optional) Specifies the expiration time for the entry. The parameter of the entry

will reset when the timer expired. The range is from 0 to 2000000. The user cannot

directly configure the expiry timer as 0.

(Optional) Specifies that the entry will not be expired.

max-datagram-size

SIZE
