Therefore, the User EXEC Mode can operate at a basic user level and the Privileged EXEC Mode can operate at the advanced user, power-user, operator, or administrator levels. The user can only enter the Global Configuration Mode from the Privileged EXEC Mode. The Global Configuration Mode can be accessed by users who have operator or administrator level user accounts. As for sub-configuration modes, a subset of those can only be accessed by users who have the highest secure administrator level privileges. The following table briefly lists the available command modes. Only the basic command modes and some of the sub-configuration modes are enumerated.
