Planning the Installation WARNING • Follow all codes and ordinances during planning/installation. Contact your local building department for details. • To avoid an electric shock hazard, the power supply must meet the specifications below. The owner shall ensure the electrical service meets requirements and that the outlet is installed by a licensed electrician. The range must be grounded per local codes, or in their absence, per the National Electrical Code, ANSI/ NFPA 70. Gas-Supply Requirements • Installation of this range must comply with local codes or, in their absence, the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54. • Ensure the range matches the home gas service (natural gas or LP gas). • If using the range above 4000 ft. (1219 m), ensure it is equipped for high-altitude use. See the rating label (inside cover) to verify that you have the proper model. • The gas-supply pressure requirements in this table are for reference only. (See the rating label for exact specifications). Electrical Requirements • The range is comes with a 6-ft. power cord with a 3-prong grounding plug connected to the rear of the range. It must be plugged in to a dedicated, grounded 3-prong electrical outlet. • The range must receive the correct voltage/frequency/amperage from a separate, grounded circuit protected by a proper-size circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. Circuit Required Total Connected Load* 120 Vac, 60 Hz, 15 Amp. 120 Vac 60 Hz, 5.0 Amp. *These specifications are for reference only. See the rating label (back of range) for exact spec's.
