Rebuilding a Drive on a Dell PERC 5/i System or on a Dell PERC 6/i System Follow these steps if you need to rebuild a physical drive on a Dell PERC 5/i system or on a Dell PERC 6/i system: 1 Right click the icon of the failed drive and select Rebuild. 2 Click Yes when the warning message appears. If the drive is still good, a rebuild will start. You can monitor the progress of the rebuild in the Group Show Progress window by selecting Group Operations-> Show Progress. If the drive cannot be rebuilt, an error message appears. Continue with the next step. CAUTION: Only trained service technicians are authorized to remove the system cover and access any of the components inside the system. Follow these steps if you need to rebuild a physical drive on a Dell PERC 5/i
system or on a Dell PERC 6/i system:

Right click the icon of the failed drive and select
Rebuild
.

Yes
when the warning message appears. If the drive is still good, a
rebuild will start.
You can monitor the progress of the rebuild in the Group Show Progress
window by selecting
Group Operations-> Show Progress
. If the drive
cannot be rebuilt, an error message appears. Continue with the next step.
