Intel Management and Security Status Application Intel Management and Security Status (IMSS) is an application that displays information about a platform's Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT) and Intel Standard Manageability services. The IMSS icon indicates whether Intel AMT and Intel Standard Manageability are running on the platform. The icon is located in the notification area. By default, the notification icon is displayed every time Windows* starts. The Intel Management and Security Status application has a separate version per every Intel AMT generation (4.x, 5.x, 6.x). This is to describe the Intel Management and Security Status application for Intel AMT generation 6.x.
